Do you have to pay for internet service on the iPhone no matter what?
I know wifi on the iPhone costs money, but what if you are already in a zone that has wireless internet?

The Iphone data package is required by ATampT. The reason is because the iPhone is constantly sending and recieving data even when you arent on the internet. You CAN jail break it, but the phone will be crippled from a lot of features for doing so. Also if you want the GS there is no current way of doing sothat I know ofbrbrBecause of the constant stream of data the phone is producing without the m package your phone bill would run up into the hundreds of a month from data. If you want an iPhone you need the data package.
