Could this make me sick?
my bedroom flooded and it just got dried out. but apparently there is mold in my carpet. i am allergic to mold. i live with my sister and she cant afford to replace it right now, but she is saving money she she can do that soon. like in a month or two my bedroom is in the basement, and i have been sleeping upstairs for about a month now. will i get sick, even if i stay out of my room? i am wondering because i have been really dizzy the last week and i dont know if this is caused by mold or not.

If you are allergic to mold, and if there is mold in any carpet in the house, unfortunately it can make you sick since mold spores travel. Actually, mold is bad for anybody whether they are allergic to it or not. Is there any way that you can rent a carpet steam cleaner many grocery stores have them, walmart, kmart, lowes, home depot, etc. for like for day and have someone steam clean the rug ? An old fashioned remedy is to spray mold with white vinegar and then let it air dry it might kill it somewhat. The dizziness is usually not a traditional allergy symptom but everyone reacts differently to what they are allergic to.
